JLA #41: The thundering conclusion, um, concludes in this issue. I’m sure plans evolved as the books were created, but this really feels like such a well-planned story, with everything from Zauriel to Aztek coming to bear in the end. Fantastic. #GMosJLA

I think this run’s one glaring weakness is how it uses Wonder Woman, both in the very male gaze-y art in the first 2/3 of the story and in how often she’s regulated to the background. This, however, is a Very Good Wonder Woman moment.

This week’s issue of Iron Man felt evocative of original series Star Trek in the best way. Also, this is my favorite comic at Marvel right now, bar none...
