trying my hand again at design. this time i decided to design an alternate outfit based on an existing character's theme, since i want to practice working off of a theme/color scheme

ill try more with some other characters, and in the future ill prolly polish this design too

Day 100+3 (Final daily, at least for now): I hope i didnt overdo some of the coloring lol

gonna work on a background too later, for now imma take some time to recover from burnout

Day 100+2: yet more adjusting, also starting to do some highlights

Day 101: i dont know if im growing into my shading style or actually improving, but i do think it looks better than before

also trying to do shading first and then highlights after and seeing if that improves the outcome

Comparing some face shading and lineart progress from earlier dailies: i feel like ive since found a better lineart width and have improved at color/shading control, at least in terms of faces

Woooo! Day 100!

It kinda sucks that I wasn't feeling it too much today, but its still been quite a journey since i started posting dailies. I'll still keep practicing and working on improving as theres still a long way to go!

Day 99: i think i have something that looks decent and acceptable? but im a bit too tired and unmotivated to continue for today...

i doubt i can do all the shading in 1 day so instead i might go a bit past day 100 to see out the piece to completion before taking a break

Day 98: bit more line art and adjustments, need to rid some of the initial sketches lol

Day 97.1: Power is back after 3.5 hrs

split between 2 pieces again today
