These really makes me feel like opm is heading in a totaly new direction.
Like not just skipping or changing webcomic content, but a totally different story from this point.
I might be wrong, let's wait another 2 weeks.
You can prefer what you want, but I personally prefer Mappas style so much more, at least when I get to see these kind of high-points.

Does this make any style objectively better or worse? No.
Mappas style is more suited for when ambient light illuminates and colors an entire scene, while Wits gives a steadier and easier base to to work with, resulting in fewer "lows" and over all better contrast/clarity (+)
Mappa also falls short almost every episode. Scenes taking place indoors, and in daylight often look off.
The visuals are stale, the individual colors don't "pop" and its ultimately detrimental to the character art and mood of the scenes (+)
The colors is the absolute best part of Mappas adaptation visually. Barely anything WIT did comes close, and we nearly get this stuff multiple times per episode.

I am very close to DONE with my chapter 134 animation! The final cleanups and editing is left, but expect it s**n!
