This is the Scorchwing, a prehistoric Deusaurid that lived over 159 million years ago. It has “protowings“ with bright markings that resemble fire. It has a very long neck that extends vertically like a brachiosaurus making it one of the tallest land animals to exist.

Within this group there’s Aleseremanids. With two extant species: Tarrmork and Belbörns. They are both carnivorous known to prey on grazers, rhinos and smaller carnivores like the dune hogs. Belbörns tend to be more scavengers than hunters. They are found in the same region.

Vellorostratids meaning “fur beak”, are a group consisting of mammals with bird like features. Bokellas for example are a wyvern-like species capable of flight with the exception of the lashed Bokella where it’s wings evolved into long clawed limbs adapted for climbing trees.
