Hearing mixed things about #CowboyBebop, but no matter what, I'm forever gonna stan these films 💪🏻💯🔥 #aot #attackontitan #進撃の巨人
Agreed. It's honestly gotta be tiring when every scene and every shot is just filled to the brim with such cinematic mastery. In TWO MOVIES no less. God bless Shinji Higuchi 🙏🏻💯 #aot #attackontitan #進撃の巨人 https://t.co/QdeibfvYyD
Tokusatsu is easily one of the most brilliant and imaginative subgenres of media to ever exist.
A bid everyone a wonderful night (or morning/day depending on where you are) with this wisdom:
This is the closest we'll ever get to a tokusatsu equivalent to The Lord of the Rings from a production, passion, and ambition standpoint.

When working on GODZILLA (1984), Shinji Higuchi suggested that the filmmakers focus on shooting the creature from low angles, to make it appear more monstrous.
This tactic would be incorporated in the making of ATTACK ON TITAN (2015).
In an odd turn of events, @Kouji_Tajima would actually become a concept artist for the actual live action AOT films, designing the Attack and Armored Titans.
So in a way, it's almost like his poster is "official fan art", made unofficial while working on the official thing.
The Philippines and several Latin American countries have used this image to promote the films, despite having nothing to do with them. And yes, it bootlegs are using it as well.
Here are some promo images to commemorate this televised event.
