@LaraRouseWrites Zachary, love interest to Hex, can be seen as the classic "Cowardly Lion".

Despite braving the cold as a Mountain Scout, he is easily frightened by everything else. But even when confronting fear in the face, he won't flee from his friends.

Hex (as in a magic spell) indicating her as a Caster. Witmaan is Dutch for White Moon, with Hex having a moon theme.

@DailywriterQ Hex is very aware of the concept of death, and is surprisingly calm about it. She's actually very fascinated about ghosts, remnants of those that are no longer.
