Best one involving that to me was this comic from 2020, getting Mikayla into a take on a classic cartoon bit.

@StudioGearpunk I wouldn't say "comfort", but Mikayla is the most fun of my OCs to draw for the expressive nature she has.

"Essence" is the particles of natural elements, and this also resides in humans & animals in the vein of souls.
Ghost is considered a category of magic... but it's more paranormal take on standard magic elements.
No true necromancy but possible alignment.
