Happy Valentine's Day from Selene and Heli! 💕

I'm going to take a break from art for a bit. I've been struggling mentally which has lead to me not wanting to draw anything. I will be back, no worries!

In the meantime, here's an old piece of mine which, pretty accurately, depicts how I'm feeling right now.

Here are some of my previous black character drawings for comparison - All had the same base color throughout the whole piece.

To be fair, I draw in a cartoony style and don't really aim for realism, but it was still fun to do & a learning experience!

I used my darkest marker over it and it's streaky?????? Wtf I really liked this lineart too and didn't scan it in or get a photo 😭

I'm seriously crying over this drawing. The colors won't blend. My copics won't blend. They keep leaving a shiny layer on the surface that, when I try to cover up, lifts up the pigment and leaves it looking splotchy?
I've NEVER experienced this type of frustration with my copics

This was drawn traditionally with markers and pens, then I added the search bar, battery, etc. stickers, from the LINE Camera app, for fun!! 💕
