In my little Au these two are technically related.

Crescent has a decent amount of the same dark energy that Mephiles is consistent of, giving her similar abilities like Mephiles's, only being weaker.

@NeosMisfits I don't often answer to these things, but eh. Mine was inspired/based from the animations: Tail's Halloween, Knuckle's Night, and Eggmans Chaos Emerald.

I kinda just expanded on the idea/concept of what the animations showed this Exe to be as.

I just call him Scar :p
