When I first started drawing FFXV in 2016 I was trying something totally different with lines and colours. None of it stuck, but I still look fondly back at the stuff I did back then.

FB just reminded me that five years ago I was just finishing the first deck I ever made, the VII playing cards - these are the Jokers.
Thinking once we get more Remake, I'll 'remake' this deck too...

Another collection of recently completed FFVII tarot cards. A long journey still ahead.

For the FFVII tarots today - The Nine of Cups, aka the 'wish fulfillment' card. Contentment, gratitude, counting your blessings. Reversed implies dissatisfaction, frustration at goals unmet, and the need for inner examination to find true happiness.

Another FFVII tarot card - the Five of Swords. Conflict, betrayal, malevolent rivalry, competition, and the need to win at all costs. Reversed implies the desire for reconciliation, an old wound reopened, or tension/resentment that follows you despite your attempts to move on.

For the FFVII tarots today, the Five of Cups - regrets, failure, and a passion pursued that only led to disappointment and loss. Reversed indicates keeping pain to yourself, and the need to let go of the past in order to thrive again.
