When she and Wally made a deal with Neron for him to take their love for each other, but it made him so compassionate he had to give it back, and then they struck a deal that they’d only take it back if he let go of the hold he has on Keystone City.

She’s been Wally’s biggest supporter and believed in him even when he had no faith in himself, he talks about how he could’ve stayed in Barry’s shadow forever if it wasn’t for her.

So he comes back, reunited with his family, he asks Barry to take away his powers so he can have a normal life, he wants nothing to do with being a superhero, which kickstarts the first arc of him taking over the Flash solo. I’d rather not spoil it so please pick it up!

He cures it and then sits on the mobius chair, then sends the kid back to Linda who gets her memories back. He helps in the Dark Knights arc but then loses the mobius chair and is back to being the Flash.

It’s been explained that Wally covering them up was Eobard messing with his mind telling him that no one would believe him, and the explosion of him losing his powers was the speed force’s surge. It takes a bit of the blame off but the entire story should be retconned imo.

He still tries to make a life for himself outside of the mask, since being the Flash has been the only thing he’s been doing since he came back. I’m gonna let these panels speak for his feelings

And then the Titans and Teen Titans have a crossover story where Wally “dies”… again.

He then shows up in front of his uncle, ready to say goodbye. I love how his narration was so full of love, he was ready to go without any resentment or regrets, he just wanted to warn everyone.
