The speedsters agree on going with Wally’s plan, and its when BWL starts corrupting the Speed Force

Barry mentions that it isn’t what he wanted for Wally, that he missed watching Wally grow up and that he messed up a lot, but that’s because he’s afraid of losing him again. They agree on that whatever they do, they’d do together.

The pressure of the Speed Force draining and running out of options causes a tension between Barry and Wally, which gets them to start fighting again. Wallace mentions to Jay that this has happened before, which makes Jay point out that Flashes don’t fight. Its always been true.

That’s when BWL sends a horde of Dark Flashes, to drain the Speed Force even faster. Wally gets the idea of using the Speed Force Formula developed by Johnny Quick, it saves them time to take a breather but it also puts a strain on the SF and is gonna accelerate the burnout

They don’t have a plan aside from running away from BWL, who’s plan is to drain the Speed Force until he gets a hold of them, it’s when Wallace finds them and joins the gang.

So issue starts out with a summary of what’s been going on with Wally, starting from his return in Rebirth, his struggles throughout and updates us on what’s happening in Death Metal, then it kicks off with the Flashes running away from BWL.
