Agreed. This method always works even for cell-shading stuff.
My formula is to make sure shadings are covering about 60~80% of the illustration. I use 2 light sources, 1 from front-above and 1 from left/right of the object. https://t.co/U0zUeuUTpz

Flat color and lineart
Quite mainstream color scheme but still such a unique touch for Gundam Frame. I also like the fact that they don't bring a huge backpack so it has an more agile appearence.
Its pretty similar with G-Else from GBD if you think about it lol
