@VillainLeaning The first impression of many of my characters are red herring in themselves. More than half my characters are not exactly what they say on the tin and will not perform as tropes might suggest when the chips are down.

@Leslie_AnnMoore Miles had a crush that Theo curb stomped early in their acquaintance. Theo immaturity means he doesn’t understand why his own stomping bothers him, so identifies his torment as envy & says dumb shit 2 balm his insecurities. It’s a strong friendship built on shattered foundations.
