@NGG_author My ship wrights, Shepard and Felix (Felix hasn’t turned up yet) are incredibly capable work colleagues but their personalities clash. As a result I love drafting every scene they’re in together and so look forward to drawing that strange friendship in the final product.
@BenTylerSmith Often it’s a feeling from the sound. Sloan is the name of my creepy villian. Sometimes it’s subverting, I gave a stoner a name u wouldn’t associate with stoners, ‘Theodore’. Sometimes I think about their parents. Shepard was born at a time when his mum was obsessed with sheep.
Recently my house mate caught covid. 17 days on she still isn’t at her strongest, but is largely recovered ❤️. That anxious time was hard to create in & I wanted a comfortable hoodie. So designed some demons & listened to @CriticalRole to escape 😂.

@ohiowa89 Unvarnished, bewildered and weird.
I’ve been told I write like I draw. But I don’t know what that means.
@ShelbyEBooks Theo & Miles would ask Sloan. She’s a bastard, but has her ear to the ground on most things. Largely because she doesn’t waste an opportunity to meet the right people. She’d know where to take the child & would happily do so as an excuse to meet & greet.
@Goblinchildren Yeah 😂 Theo lost 2 inch since a starter writing him.
@JAMARI78 Naming is too much fun to resist 😂
Some of my favourite chapter names from my series ‘The Aggressive Guide‘ include:
‘A Marmot in a Fucking Quarter Sleeve’
‘No One Cares’
‘An Exceptional Set of Lungs’
‘Fucking Nutter’
And
‘You Should Come With a Warning’
@NGG_author Sloan.
Romanian female names r upright & dignified. I needed something that, in the right light, was sinister. So whatever she was called couldn’t be her real name. That conclusion gave me a the freedom to decide a slurred sound was a suitably rancid name.
