lu xianhe, the man himself, aka crane, is a street kid, musician, rave goer, dj, and hopeless romantic. complicated relationship with his family and old friend fang, but deeply in love with fei. he loves people and just getting to know everyone. he's nicknamed the fairy prince

yu shuren is a former jockey and now street guy who does whatever work he can get, usually in tech. heavily inspired by sakata gintoki and @yurouzuya herself. he sleeps a lot. he's crane's dage. when crane met him and saw his undercut, he immediately went and got his hair cut too

dmitri daskalov is a former army doctor who was saved by a passing witch in a way that slowed his aging, making him semi-immortal. he's a wandering surgeon now, and good friends with the traveling doctor witch, ilina. he has a complicated relationship with death. he's 146.

the cast!! the protagonist is mayume rei, the dream witch! she studied under the ice witch, but she was first inspired to study by the flower witch who was the first person to show her magic. years later, she wants to visit the flower witch and repay her thanks.

fang's asperitas clouds. they're freaking beautiful and form near storm clouds but don't precipitate lol

a street kid who is crane's lil bro who respects him deeply, and he's got red string of fate magic even tho he's actually super shy (and panro ace) about love!! his magic lets him have fateful meetings with lots of people.
