Saying most anime look the same is a very board and overall incorrect statement about anime as an art form. I suggest next time you do your research cause as someone whose art style was influenced by anime (mainly Madoka) , that come off as very ignorant to put it bluntly.

But there is still enough between those styles that can separate each anime as their own in terms of looks. Anime as form of art has grown and evolved to the point where several different styles can be called "anime."

And Shaft has worked on the Monogatari series, Madoka Magica, Mahoromatic, and Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei

Heck this isn't mention studios that have produced several anime with different styles. Studio Trigger is an example with Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, SSSS Gridman, and the previously mentioned Inferno Cop.

Want more seinen shows? Then we have Madoka Magica, Dragon Maid, Kaguya-sama, and Land of the Lustrous. Bonus points to the last one since that's a CGI anime.

Or how about we go to the Shoujo side of things with shows like Love Live, My Love Story!!, Fruits Basket, and Sailor Moon Crystal

But say that's cherry picking the standout ones. Fine. Let's compare some modern shonen shows and how each has a different style despite being in the same anime category. Demon Slayer, MHA, Promised Neverland, and Boruto has some similarities, are still unique in there looks.
