Watching the infamous 1990 CAPTAIN AMERICA movie, and while I was expecting things like the "Psyche-Hitler-Salute" and the fake rubber ears, I did not expect them to mention friggin' *Namor and the Human Torch*. That was a jolt to the system. 😳

Decided to kick off today by checking out an obscure '70s monster flick: THE MILPITAS MONSTER.

Say what you like about '50s monster movies; I have a real soft spot for the '70s and its aesthetic and vibe. ✌️😊

Films I watched today!

Two '80s classics: 1986's ALIENS and 1982's THE DARK CRYSTAL.

One of the films was ERNEST AND CELESTINE, a great French animated film recommended to me by @nataliesqrl, and I'll be giving it a full review soon. 😁

I've had good luck with French animation recently. Gonna have to check out APRIL AND THE EXTRAORDINARY WORLD at some point.

About to watch the 2009 Indonesian film THE FORBIDDEN DOOR, which hopefully is what leads to one of my favourite films, THE FORBIDDEN ROOM. 😁

Review time! Trying something a bit different with this one.

Anyway, for Titan Tuesday yesterday, I put off my trip to the Asylum and went for a couple of films that actually exceeded my (admittedly low) expectations! 😊
