So, what's the "Color Splash Era"? It's an effort to make my drawings more dynamic, rich with style, and colorful. I have a handful of artists I wish to emulate to achieve this effect, as you can see.
Warm-up drawings. Quaxly was part of an upcoming commission, and I've drawn a friend's OC, Solomin, from his upcoming webcomic "Impetus".
April 17th, 2020 November 1st, 2020 December 15th, 2021 March 22nd, 2022 I want to say my coloring improved, though I still have too much to work on in terms of composition, style, anatomy and...ugh. Grinding it out right now.
Guess who finished their second-ever commission? Me! Thanks, @misskippieee, I hope you like this! #DragonBallZ #Trunks
Welcome back, Serena. #Anipoke #Pokemon
@asedeiya Thanks! Here are the only other two drawings of her that exist 😂
(OC) Line art and Watercolor Practice - Maverick Anderson (MSA Arc 4: Battle Legends)
Here's an evolution of my OC's design, Abigail - known as the "Masked Trainer", as she'd appear in Maverick's Sinnoh Adventure.
This is my very first minor closed door commission. Thanks, @misskippieee! Hope you liked it!
I didn't have my drawing tablet set up so I had to quickly use my mouse, but I learned a new rendering tech that makes lighting look pretty nice. Here's a comparison. I'll make future pieces with this technique. Thanks, @Aeyga_X, for the tip on stream!
