I love Mondays. That's when I meet with Catherine Hamilton and get updates on her progress.
When I'm not in meetings, I'll be showing a prototype of Legends of the Deep at #GenCon. Come by and have a look. The design is super simple and impacts every aspect of the game. It's also got some of the most beautiful art of anything we've done.
@Boardgamefeast @NorthStarGames Oceans: Legends of the Deep - Sept 2022

Catherine Hamilton, the artist for Evolution and Oceans, is having a studio sale. Check it out if you're interested.

@Walsfeo Oceans: Legends of the Deep. It’s an expansion that will go on Kickstarter in 3 - 4 months.
I'm pretty excited about hos the box cover looks. Thoughts? How do we make this better?
@StoicHamster Glad you like the art. The artist is Filipino. Here is another one that I find stunning. It's the Dragon King from a Chinese cultural legend. This one was illustrated by a Chinese artist.
Japanese Folklore
Kappa are typically depicted as green, human-like beings with webbed hands and feet and a turtle-like carapace on their back. They are known to favor cucumbers and love to engage in sumo wrestling.
Another cultural legends that will be included in the Oceans expansion later this year.
The Dragon King, Longwang, gets his orders directly from the Jade Emperor. He controls the weather, provides bountiful harvests, and rules over the four seas (North, South, East, and West).
