@MichelsTristan Lest we forget the granddaddy of furry films.
@PhantasiaArtist Actually, former Disney animator Don Bluth tried to make “East of the Sun and West of the Moon” his next movie after “The Secret of NIMH”, but the project was sadly cancelled due to financial troubles. These few stills are all that’s left of the film.
@blockbustedpod Wow. Robert Zemeckis has reached a new low. But hey, it could be worse. We could’ve had a terrible motion capture remake of “Yellow Submarine”.
I’m not kidding.
I found some character design work for Timon from “The Lion King” (1994) by Nik Ranieri, the supervising animator of Lumiere in “Beauty and the Beast”. He was supposed to animate Timon and even did an early pencil test of the character before he left to work on “Pocahontas”.
It’s depressing to think of how many iconic voices from our childhoods we lost this year alone…
Is it my imagination or do animated features in the sci-fi genre always tend to be box office poison?
So you’re saying that World War II never happened?
Okay… Fine. Be ignorant all you want, but you’re only making a fool of yourself. https://t.co/t2xNI6glO1
@RiseFallNickBck Believe it or not, that was my ONLY problem with Ralph Break the Internet. I remember seeing some concept art by Jeff Merghart of him and Sgt. Calhoun becoming parents to twin babies! I SO wish they kept this in!
@Saberspark And, quite frankly, I do miss the classic Disney villains of old.
