Happy Birthday to the People's Park, Dún Laoghaire - 130 years old today!

The park has always been a popular place to take a stroll and enjoy the fresh sea air. It features heavily in old postcards promoting Kingstown/Dún Laoghaire #dlr

By 5 August, public notices of the name change had been posted throughout the local area, and Kingstown became thereafter known as Dún Laoghaire. However, the old name did not disappear immediately, as seen in the postcard attached
