Livingstone came across 'Mosi oa Tunya'. A waterfall twice the size of Niagara Falls, it had of course been noticed by local communities beforehand. However, just like Lake Ngami, Livingstone was celebrated for its discovery. He named it Victoria Falls, in honour of his Queen.
