I can take solace knowing sketches of Byleth turn out pretty well

A lot of things felt right with this one. Made a good brush, I pushed for more vibrant colors, made a structure pass (the block figure you see). Had to tone down a bit of the shadowing on her cheek..it looked like a sunburn.

I don’t know much of Lucahjin (mostly got interested from word of mouth), but hoo boy do I like her Vtuber avatar.

i think this is as far as i'll go for touching-up. If anything, I need to make more use of my initial sketches. I think they provide the right amount of detail i put into the work.

I need to get Summer Byleth in before the season ends. Now with both the flat coloring and the shading version.

Finally got around to playing Celeste. I expected quite an incredible platormer, but i didn't expect the story part. That was pretty good.

this feels like a simple pose, but i'm kinda glad it still feels different from the other arts i've done. I also enjoyed figuring out how that overcoat works.
