I love how Raph, usually the most standoffish of the Turtles, has had the most canon romances in some of the comics, and that they're usually with canine women. Umeko/Ninjara (Archie TMNT), Mezcaal (in the future of the Archie TMNT timeline), and now Alopex (IDW). XD #TMNT

@cubewatermelon Artemis (the rogue-y dude) and Kyae (the mage gal)! Artemis is an up-and-coming master thief and adventurer with a drive to prove himself, while Kyae is a mage who loves finding new ways to enchant things whose mother was a wolf shapeshifter person. They love each other!!

So, Fido Dido (who was a popular mascot for 7UP) was created by Sue Rose and Joanna Ferrone. Sue Rose would later go on to create Pepper Ann, with @misterwarburton as lead character designer, before HE made KND.
So, they're a kind of animated extended family. I love 'em all. XD

@robochai I'm not 100% sure if it fits what you're looking for, but Usagi Yojimbo by Stan Sakai is one of my all-time favorite American comics, and Stan is a legendarily awesome sweetheart of a man.
