Reminiscing about this old pic tonight--the first time I ever drew NiGHTS and Balan together. Oh good lord look how off-model Balan is XD I did this in August 2020 and it was probably only the second or third time I'd drawn him. Come a long way since~

Flats from today's V-Day art! My inspiration for NiGHTS' motif was sugary pinks, conversation hearts, and Cupid, while Balan's was inspired by roses and fancy chocolates. NiGHTS goes for ribbons, Balan for lace. They complement each other nicely 💘

All this happy talk about Klonoa reminded me that I did draw the little guy back in 2017 for his 20th anniversary. I need to get into this series more now that the remakes are coming out 💖
