speaking on the Evangelion art style thread from a few minutes ago, I REALLY like how Rebuild 1.0 and 2.0 look. it's an actual remaster and it feels like they took the original cel sheets and gave them a modern update

my favorite art style for Evangelion is when the actual character designer, Sadamoto, is handling it.

it's justtttt right. thankfully Sadamoto was in charge of the art the whole way through for the Evangelion manga. so W.

this frame always looked a bit wonky in NGE though lol Misato looks lifeless

Evangelion's art style was pretty inconsistent tbh. it all still looks good but it's worth pointing out.

I'm glad End of Evangelion and the Rebuilds remained consistent lol
