#OTD in 1942 the 2nd Battle of El Alamein began. This is Paolo Caccia Dominioni, engineer, alpino and partisan. He devoted his life to finding the bodies of his fallen comrades and (ex)enemies. He designed the Italian memorial and cemetery in El Alamein.A real hero.#RegioEsercito
