Fujimoto is very keen to portray each character's emotions well because their deaths will be all the more exciting. However, he has no particular fondness for them. Power was fun to draw, but the rest of the characters just exist for the sake of the story.
Fujimoto initially planned to end Chainsaw Man Part 1 in 10 volumes. "I don't want to draw the same thing all the time because I get bored (laughs)."
As a reader though, he can enjoy manga like "Azumi" by Yu Koyama that can only work as a long-running series.
Tatsuki Fujimoto changed the title of chapter 92 from "Zombie, Blood, Chainsaw" to "Vanilla Sky" in the volume release. It's one of his favorite movies.
