On a side note, ain't it amazing how BG's are painted? American made BG's tend to have very near edges, but Japanese ones have lots of fast masterful brush strokes.

@transformertoys So apparently Akom used this obsolete (and ridiculously horrid) scale ref when animating "Rebirth" eps. Next to Ark you can see giant Sideswipe, who at this early stage was known as Sunstreaker.

Ok, here's a helpful guide about frame rates in animation. 1st off, you gotta understand that animation uses variable frame rate: 24, 12 and 8. It's never a fixed number. 24 is maximum and here's an animation done at that frame rate. #HeMan #SheRa #MOTU #POP
