A water spirit often equated to Nix and other cautionary creatures, the vodyanoy can become a tutelary spirit of sorts if treated right. Though when wronged, the comparisons become all too real, and even more, damaging more than just lives.

Creatures of #Mancer: Varkolak (Slavic)
A dangerous undead with traits matching both werewolves and vampires. Said to be formed in death after sacrilegious life, these bestial creatures thrive on flesh, with a taste for human livers. In some contexts, said to bring eclipses.

A spider yokai often living in isolation in forests and mountains. Much like the yorogumo, it relies on illusion to lure prey in but is capable of much more varied deception and ambition than driving people in by inciting lust.

Grotesque looking fae folk said to be ghosts of giants, their small stature betraying their strength. Usually having an unpleasant disposition, they delight in working mischief to any who have offended them. Sometimes confused with dryads.

A being of nobility and curiosity, they are occasionally bound to locations, such as tombs and vaults, to stand guard for payment of knowledge. They usually issue challenges to ones who wish to pass, the type depending on disposition.

Therianthrope able to change between a seal and human form by donning or doffing its skin. While this change can happen only so often, Selkies take the opportunity to partake in human revelries before changing back, if they find their skin.

A hooved dragonid, the appearance of which was confused with that of a giraffe. With its scales taking on colors from a variety of elements and its auspicious features, it is thought to be a noble creature, the power of which can be deceiving

A bird spirit causing storms and cold weather, taking whole mountains for themselves to call their own. Mostly solitary, lest mortals would make their way without permission up the side of its elevated home.

A tutelary spirit, living on and empowered by its association as the Sagittarius in astrology. Embodying many dualities, the strongest of which are war and hunting juxtaposed with healing. AKA the wild bull with multicoloured legs.
