Creatures of #Mancer: Huu (Finnish)
The Huu is a fleeting ethereal existence, a portent of death. While equated with the idea of the generic ghost, it is a spirit with a simple mission. Should not be associated with the Mare, a similar spirit entity, who marks beings for death.

Creatures of #Mancer: Grootslang (South Africa)
An elephant-sized snake said to have been the origin from which both were once split during creation. Dwelling in caves and craving after treasure, primarily gems, it lures in large prey for both sustenance and to add to its hoard.

Creatures of #Mancer: Gaoh (Iroquois)
A wind spirit in the form of a giant. While mostly benevolent, it is known for restless violence in the form of storms, uprooting trees, and cannibalism. It lives in its House of Winds in the sky, from which it controls the cardinal winds.

Creatures of #Mancer: Fylgja (Nordic)
The fylgja are a protective spirit in the guise of an animal. They manifest when a child is born, their shape representative of the child’s future. In general, they are not seen save for in dreams or at the time of death.

Creatures of #Mancer: Encantado (Brazil)
A shapeshifter in a guise of a dolphin. Fond of human pursuits, they transform into Humans save for their blowhole, which they hide under headwear. They also have other abilities, such as hypnosis, used to kidnap a target of their “love”.

Creatures of #Mancer: Cipactli (Aztec)
A monstrous crocodile-like being with additional mouths adorned on its joints. The manifestation of hunger, eventually devouring all of creation. The body of a slain Cipactli is told to be the land upon which Humans tread.

Creatures of #Mancer: Bake-Kujira (Japan)
A ghostly whale with a cadre of strange birds and fish. Omen of famine and death, seeing one moving in the night spells doom for entire communities. They bring plague with their presence and are quite hard to deter or exorcise.

New and most likely one of the last playtest versions Mancer should be going up over the weekend. It's also the first one with art, even if public domain art for the moment. I hope this peek into the aesthetics behind the game excites you about the game as much it does me. #ttrpg
