The “soft” power of the Stand Spice Girl might be a reference to the famous painting called “The Persistance of Memory” made by Salvador Dalí.

There’s even a clock affected by this power on Chapter 538, who’s softened just like the ones in the painting.

This would make sense considering that DIO’s design was based from the main character of this manga.
