Wazzat, Noko, and Daiz are tied for the lowest STR stat in Yo-kai Watch 1 (before modifiers), with a max STR stat of 85.
Bitter Batter was adapted into an official Yo-kai based off of a self-portrait of fifth grader, Tsubasa Kotouono, as a Yo-kai, who stated that he drew himself as an octopus because his friends and classmates had given him the nickname, "Takoyaki", because of his round head.
Zazel's design may have taken inspiration from Rikuo Nura, from the manga and anime series, "Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan". Both have similar appearances, are based off of the yōkai, Nurarihyon, and are voiced by Takehito Koyasu in the respective Japanese dubs of their anime.

Duhwheel is based off of Wanyūdō, a yōkai from Japanese folklore. Wanyūdō takes the form of a burning oxcart wheel bearing the tormented face of a man. They are said to originate from Kyoto, Japan.
Blizzaria and Camellia were used as placeholder map artworks for Hello Kitty and My Melody in the "Sanrio Character Collaboration" event, held from May 1, 2017 to May 16, 2017 in Yo-kai Watch: Puni Puni.
Slurpent is based of off "Yamata no Orochi", a creature from Japanese folklore. "Yamata no Orochi" is an eight-headed serpent, and is the Japanese equivalent of a hydra. Slurpent has eight tongues to represent this, along with an eight on his chest, head, back, and tail.
