-Not Releated To Monkey Punch Art-
In 2006 a new manga was released. M.F.C「女泥棒会社峰不二子カンパニー 上」or Mine Fujiko Company, It was a spin off ilustrated by Izo Suzuki, centered on our favorite femme fatale, Fujiko, now working as the president of a school of thieves.
At the time of making the adaptations, Monkey Punch was not really very involved.
He preferred to leave it to the professionals and give them the freedom to do what they think is good, like him at the time of made manga, and one of his few words to the studio was "MADE IT GOOD".
Monkey Punch considered that himself did not know how to draw, he thought that his anatomy was incorrect, Lupin is a skeleton with long legs.
He turned those disadvantages into something that gives him his own style as a manga artist.

At the time I forgot to mention that these illustrations are based on the 8 drunken gods of the movie, but it's always a good time to remember.
Btw, watch Drucken Master is pretty good. https://t.co/MGChvQcOOS
Fujiko is also a great artist.
