I honestly like Dick Grayson a lot. Great origin, great Robin. Here’s my preferred take:

-he’s no older or younger than 14/15 when his parents die

-He was gonna go out for justice anyway, so Bruce trains him for his own good

-Bruce is his big brother, not his father

-Pants

It’s not THE STRANGER or anything, but it’s a sensitive, observed little moment and a great example of the casual humanism Denny O’Neil brought to the often over-extroverted world of superhero comics.
