One of my favorite Easter Eggs we ever did in SHE-HULK was in Vol. 2

Every line of dialogue from the rogue Nick Fury Life Model Decoys came from actual comics where Marvel retroactively decided that Nick Fury had been replaced. It was a TON of research for a one panel gag.

Leaving this here to link to till the end of time.

Batman doesn't kill anyone in DKR.

He shoots the kidnapper in DKR he doesn't kill them.

It's mentioned twice in the news that Batman hasn't killed anyone.

The fact he's NEVER killed anyone is an important plot point.

I saw an odd interpretation to a scene from SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN the other day.

A reader thought Peter cried when Doc Ock sacrificed his identity so that Peter could have his body back.

That tear was cried two pages earlier *by* Doc Ock while he was still in control.

...and everyone started calling the character "White Venom".

Except me. I HATED White Venom. I thought it was so dopey. One of the main reasons I pitched the New Ways to Die storyline was so that I could name the character. The name I tossed out in a group email: Anti-Venom.

Can you guess what movie was a big hit a couple months before these comics came out?

(Someone should actually compile a list of something like this: tracking hit movies and when comics road the tails of each big zeitgeist.)
