AND DON'T WORRY, Lair of the Clockwork God is a standalone game. No knowledge of the originals is required, so if you can't remember what happened OR can't be bothered to play them, it's absolutely fine.

For a most of its development, #ClockworkGod (which is about teaching emotions to a computer) was called "Once More, With Feelings!" which is a very clever title but ultimately a dreadful video game name.
