I fell in love with them, despite how hard and jank they were for me, but I continued the hunt. Eventually I managed to find JP copies of KOF 2000 as well as 1999 Dream Match (the Dreamcast port of '98), since region locking on the Dreamcast was a joke 😎 (8/?)

After that weekend I went on a huge deep dive on everything I could find out about SNK and KOF. Through some spending of my own allowance I managed to get a used copy of SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 for PS2, introducing me to Fatal Fury and KOF 94 (and Neo Turf Masters 😎) (7/?)
