most of my adulthood has just been spent chasing the emotion I felt as a kid, when I first looked at this cool DBZ art from the '90s
like, Sonic Adventure, the Sonic OVA, and Sonic Underground all dropped in 1999, in America, and I didn’t even bat an eye. they all just casually co-existed
could very well have just been because I was 7 years old, and I didn’t care. but, still, it’s crazy to think about
I feel like Sonic fans argue about the details of his design now more than they ever have before
which is wild, because I’d say Sonic is way more visually consistent now than he used to be, back in the day. dude used to be all over the place.
“we can’t make a mature take on Scooby, while keeping Scooby in it” just smacks of someone who has absolutely zero interest in the Scooby series as a whole
like, come on, man. it’s not hard
