This is not a bad drawing and I’m sure the intention was not bad either and I definitely never thought I’d have to say this, but please do NOT change Rocket’s ethnicity If you’re doing the Look Up “Draw This In Your Own Style” challenge specifically. Erasure is no bueno. 🙆🏿♂️

Now I know what you’re probably thinking “Dapo sure does like drawing cats in his books a lot” right? 😅 well I can assure you, this was purely coincidental 😅 that being said, Sadie was a fun character to draw. Again, I had to make her different from another black cat of mines.
🥳 It’s #WorldBookDay2019 today!!! 🥳 A day to celebrate the joys of books and reading 🥰 and of course, a day for some awesome costumes of your fave literary characters. Here are a couple of my original characters reading one of my fave books. Enjoy the day folks. 😊🙌🏿
🤩 I see the #drawingwhileblack hashtag is doing the rounds 🥰 I’ve missed it the last couple times, but this time I’m ready. 😊 Here are some of the characters I’ve drawn while remaining highly melanated (if it wasn’t a word before, it is now) 😎.
