Joan of Arc, Clone High
Jo, a cynical, angsty goth girl, is about as interesting as she is hilarious. I like that she causes a lot of chaotic situations herself, and she can also be very sympathetic. Love Joan, though Cleo isn't far behind.
Brandy Harrington, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers
(I always feel like there was more to the show's title than that) Brandy is a fun bratty character. I like how, despite her upbringing, she's put through a lot of wacky situations. She even helps modernize the Amazon, which is impressive.
Acrobat Aqua, Bomerman (Land Touch! 2)
I wish this adorable clutsy acrobat had more official art around and I wish her game was a little more well-known because it's a great game. I AM happy that her personality still made it to SBR (I just wish the Bombers weren't siblings).
Alice Tsukagami, Bloody Roar
Another precious "cute but tough" type of gal, which I am a sucker for. Her human form is an adorable but tough gal, and her rabbit form is tough but attractive.
I like Alice's human design in BR1, but her rabbit design in BR2.
Birdy Cephon Altera, Birdy the Mighty
As this list makes it clear, I'm a sucker for the fiery, tough, energetic type- so, tomboys, and I love her design. I like that she makes the "sexy but tough" look work so well- I wish more anime girls were like Birdy.
Katara, Avatar: The Last Airbender
How could I not mention one of my all-time favorite shows in here? As well as one of my favorite characters from the show. There's too much for me to say about Katara here, but she's a stellar character with some of the best growth in the show.
Slappy Squirrel, Animaniacs
Slappy should have had her own spin-off. As fun the varied cast in Animaniacs can be, Slappy is the heart and soul of the show. Cranky, snarky, and funny- she's always a presence.
And I will never forgive the reboot show for not using her at all.
Gori, from Aggretsuko
Gori's large and fun. She's a total dweeb, and I love that she's notably vulnerable despite her status. I'm a sucker for the expressive types, and Gori always lights up a scene.
Sasha Buckler, from Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies
I'm a big fan of the Ace Attorney series, and there's a ton of good choices for waifus, but I'm going with Sasha because she's attractive, energetic and lively, expressive, and the case she hails from is one of the best.
Perdita, 101 Dalmatians.
Anybody who knows me knows that I love dogs, Dalmatians especially, and this movie is the reason for it. Perdita herself is an absolute sweetie, a great mom, and absolutely precious.
