@TsuiAllen @i_teach_things @PaulWat5 @jonnybid @MrsBezoari @SarahFarrellKS2 @mrbeeteach @MeakerR As it's #BritishScienceWeek I thought these might be a good share. I've done lots of 'cross-section' sculptures with kids, it's a great way of using art to look 'inside' things. These all feature in my book #ArtShaped

I've started my term off with two days at the 'small but perfectly formed' Charlton Horethorne Primary in Dorset. All 54 kids have worked together to create this display piece incorporating their logo, school motto, and their class 'insects'. 🤩

@NancyVillalta4 I haven't got a heart one I can show you but this bird might be a good example. I'd build strips of card around the circumference and important features and then try to build up the details and textures, you could label it too. Could make it larger scale too, a display piece.
@jillsciteach Loads Jill!, on the 'downloads' on my website I've got the simple 'rocket' here, that can be larger, more elaborate. I've done moonscapes, planet landscapes, landing craft, Astronaut figures, planet models . . . DM if there's anything that catches your eye and I'll add pics. 😊
I’ve had a fantastic afternoon in the sunshine working for a friend over in Bridport. The kids all made a phoenix to take home and finish off. 😮😊👍

Just found some old illustrations. I’m having a big holiday sort out, sometimes you come across stuff you’ve forgotten about completely. 😮
@ElliottBlackwe3 Recently made some very similar cardboard ones with kids 😮
So here they are, Year 5 & 6 at Greenfield Primary have worked really hard to create their ‘mechanimals’ based on the book ‘Cogheart’ . . . Thank you @peterbunzl for the inspiration.

@sophiegreenart @MarkKnopfler Not quite got your patience, the kids ones were good though 😊
Here’s a couple of amazing ‘sea monsters’ from this afternoons session with Year 5. I love their imaginative ideas but also the design of these two and the technical skill really caught my eye . . . 10 year olds. 🤩
