The problem with @thevaultcomics' Sera and the Royal Stars is that there was so much hype and not enough pages because dammmmmmn this is a book I could go on reading for hours. Excellent work from @jontsuei, @AudreyMok and @CampbellLetters.

SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH #1 does what all the best first issues do well; dump you right in a world that feels lived in and hasn't just begun the moment we flick that first page. Voices are distinct, characters are given their own styles, and lots of teases for growth.

So I bought a signed copy of WEST COAST AVENGERS from @79SemiFinalist's online store and because the int'l shipping is a killer, Kelly asked which other series of hers I liked and threw in two signed copies of JESSICA JONES and MR & MRS X.

I went back to reread the 2012 #CaptainMarvel run. I'd almost forgotten how amazing that art was (and how much the book experimented with artists) but @kellysue's first arc has always stuck with me as one of the finest ways to (re)introduce a character without prior familiarity.
