Winhill is easily one of my favorite locations in all of #FinalFantasy. They perfectly capture that “small village” feeling. Between the music and the aesthetic it’s such a cozy location. Isolated and away from everything. Would absolutely live here. #FF8

To be clear I prefer his current design. It’s aesthetically more pleasing. Just saying the original made sense.

The term ‘materia’ is likely a reference to the Prima Materia. In alchemy the base substance to be transmuted into the Philosopher's Stone. Also described as the basis of all matter & matter in its purest form. Materia being crystallized mako, the basis of all life in #FF7.
