This was grandpa’s bridge into the next world, I’ll never forget everything he taught me, he was a hard working farmer, he was innovative, charismatic, never spent a dime, would give you the shirt off his back, and always had something to say.
He was the hero of our family.
RIP

And I know why things change
And I know why I stay the same
Some say I should learn to cry
But I only learned how to fight
And I know everything must die
But nothing fades like the light
No, nothing fades like the light”🎵

Ok I swear no more lol, I did two variations on a front view of a male entelodont with the exaggerated jugal, I wish I could physically work on a small version of the skull because it’s a weird bone.
Anyway, I did one with all the edged padding vs more sunken in and callous knobs
@FurFable @AxelSauro Yup! That one was done by blue rhino! It also seems like the knobs on the jaw vary between reconstructions too, but the consensus seems to be those big jugal bones protruding.
I plan to do updates on my reconstructions later down the road, but this was definitely fun to try out.
Hope your not tired of these
I went back and fixed the canines so they fit in a proper way along with updating the original yawning entelodont I did(without a headache this time!)
I added the last just cause I’m still proud of it.
Removed the knobs after looking at various skulls of hogs, hippos, and peccary.
I made this guy have a slight color variation between males and females where males are darker with eye color variation.
Tusk/canine variation on where it would rest.
More entelodont maw, this time with a lip for the upper canine to rest(along with a fatty thick nub on the farthest bone knob), vs a mouth pocket and the knob is more callous knob
