Haven't tried this in a while....

I think too of the Italian & American Futurists, Umberto Boccioni and Jospeh Stella; making brave uncompromising works that were to herald in the new technological age. The sharp lines of ‘above’ are ordered and uniform, suggestive of an idea of progress.

6// This is vibrant, fun, cheeky, delightful piece to look at.
But it goes deeper than that. Yuyu’s practice replaces the white heteronormative subjects of European historical paintings with self-portraits; a Taiwanese gay man living in Germany.

3// This is a repurposing of The Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard, a masterpiece of Rococco styling.

1/9 TEA-TIME THREAD

Every week, the decision on what to write about is impossibly hard. My list of amazing works is growing ever longer, so thank you for sharing your work – I love seeing it!

Every week, however, I can only choose one, and today its 's DESIGNOID2c
