Here it is, the final look, a tad of pastel brush work and finally a symmetry correction.

I LOVE this cover, guys.

Right out of the scanner the colors are dull and faded, you need to correct them a bit (now I only use @clipstudiopaint for my digital work).

Here what it looked like after some watercolor and color pencil work, I used a very limited color palette, three godets and a couple (TWO!) minor details with other colors.

A little adaptation in format and two tiny notes from Emily, I had my sketch ready!

The concept for this one was super clear "MJ as a vampire, red eyes, pale skin, classic vampire", for me that means Maila Nurmi.
I sketched in pencil and watercolor, I could have done the piece directly but I didn't want to push my luck too much.

Seems like it's finally public… my Mary Jane vampire cover… One of my favorite ones EVER.
