Puffin was mystified by the fact everyone assumed he was a sociable bird. He couldn't deny that he was good in social situations (his banter was splendid), but he much preferred his own company.
He found other puffins both intriguing and exhausting.

'Well,' thought Bear, 'sometimes you have to accept the unacceptable.'
He wasn't in the habit of putting energy into things he couldn't change. Best to have a sit down, breathe it out, and think of what he'd be having for tea.
True acceptance and surrender was quite a nice thing.

When life was chaotic, or overwhelming, Heron knew how to find the peace he needed to get him through the day.
He’d learnt that stillness of the body created stillness of the mind. It took him a life time of practice, but it was worth it.
Plus, he was amazing at musical statues.

Coo was not impressed easily, and she was decidedly unimpressed by the whole Black Friday thing.
She was much happier being out in the cold, fresh air than being anywhere near all that rubbish.
So, she stood in her field, chewed her grass and ignored the whole thing.

Otter was the kind of chap who lived in the moment and experienced every second. He was often asked how he never got lost in the future or stuck in the past.
The answer was easy.
Why would you live in memories or fantasy when the now is so extraordinary?

Fox talked to herself all the time.
She’d often discuss her favourite colour of leaf or mumble about the weather. She made sure to give herself a compliment everyday though. Her opinion was the most important one after all, so she may as well remind herself how lovely she was 🧡

Good morning lovely twitter people☺️
I'm thinking of doing a set of greetings cards with some pen and ink drawings. Here's the fox one (got a badger, squirrel and stag too)
Experimenting with b/w or maybe colour. Can't decide which direction to go!
What do you think?
A,B,C or D?

‘Fox Daydreams’
He gets lost.
Springtime fills his senses and he forgets.
He forgets he’s a fox with fox problems.
He closes his eyes to feel the colour of spring flowers and he smiles.
