To clarify, they are not 1:1, just like TMS FE with the P5D Joker model, P5S has slightly touched up P5 models with enhancements to the meshes/textures.
Worth noting however that they all have brand new face models made from scratch, with face textures that're way less detailed.
Upon closer inspection there are lots of minor tweaks to the model, most notable ones being the slightly touched up texture and buttons actually being modeled in TMS (in P5D the buttons are just texture).
So I guess the correct way to describe this would be an "updated" version.
Atlus really put those Persona Dancing models to good use, guess that's one way to use your resources effectively.
If anyone is looking for a dump of the new Anna and Jeritza portraits, here's a link to them!

So with the (possibly very real) DLC info we've gotten on the possibility of Anna being a new playable characters, I'd like to remind people of a fun little thing that may or may not end up meaning something.
P5D really improved a lot on certain areas of the models, the faces particularly, as an example here we have Joker.
P5 vs P5D (edited UVs to reuse P5 texture) vs Side by Side
For those lucky few who got their PQ2 USA copy early from amazon, I've got a neat little patch.
It forces "canon" names within the game's code which in turn allows a name such as Yu Narukami to be displayed perfectly.
Be sure to read the instructions!
